What Is This Thing?
A black silicone tray, about 18cm by 11cm, with ten skull-shaped cavities, a rigid lid and a small funnel for filling it without spilling. Freeze water in it and you get ten ice skulls, each roughly the size of a large ice cube, with eye sockets and a row of teeth.
The listing's closing image puts one in a glass of whisky under the heading Novelty Idea, and explains, helpfully, that it is a "funny and joyful idea of putting a vivid skull ice cube in your whiskey glass."
Why You Don't Need It
Ice already exists in a shape that works. A cube cools a drink perfectly well, and the skull contributes nothing except a face, which will melt off in the first ten minutes and leave you with a vaguely organic lump.
It also takes up the same freezer space as a tray that makes twice as much ice.
Why You'll Buy It Anyway
Because of one image. Under the heading Unleash Creativity, the listing lists the other things you can pour into it: jelly, chocolate, resin, candle wax — "and even cement."
That is the whole product. A single silicone tray that the seller, with a straight face, proposes for your whisky and for your concrete. Nobody asked which order to do those in.
The skulls themselves are genuinely good, which is the other half of it. The detail survives freezing, and a glass with a skull slowly dissolving in it is a better drink to hand someone than a glass with a cube.

Who It's Actually For
Anyone who hosts, and in particular anyone who hosts in October. It is the cheapest possible way to make a drinks table look deliberate.
Also chocolatiers, candle makers and resin crafters, all of whom are named in the listing and all of whom will get more years out of it than the whisky drinker.
before you click buy
Pick one use and stay with it. Silicone that has held resin, wax or cement should never go back into the freezer for ice, and the listing does not think to mention that.
Silicone also picks up smells from whatever is next to it. If the tray lives beside last week's curry, so will the whisky.
