What Is This Thing?
A resin cast of a human skull at roughly life size — the listing puts it at 19cm — finished in the brown-and-ivory mottling that props use to suggest age. The sutures are moulded in across the cranium, the teeth are individually defined, and the eye sockets are deep enough to hold shadow from any angle.
It is not a medical model. The bones are one piece, nothing detaches, and the anatomy is approximately right rather than teaching-grade.
Why You Don't Need It
You already know what a skull looks like. You are carrying one.
As an object it does nothing at all: it does not hold pens, it is not a lamp, it does not open. It occupies about the same footprint as a large mug and asks considerably more of a room.
Why You'll Buy It Anyway
A skull on a shelf is the oldest available shortcut to a particular kind of seriousness, and it has been doing that job in paintings for six hundred years. At twenty-two dollars you are buying the shortcut.
There is also the practical version of the argument: it is one of the few decorative objects that both a fourteen-year-old and a fifty-year-old will find unimprovable, for entirely different reasons.

Who It's Actually For
Artists who want a reference on the desk rather than on a screen. Anyone assembling a room with a deliberate tone — a study, a bar, a workshop — who has furniture handled and needs the smaller layer. Halloween, where it will outperform anything made of plastic and last past November.
Also the obvious one: it photographs extremely well, which is most of why these sell.

Confirm the size against your shelf. Nineteen centimetres sounds modest and is not; a real skull is larger than people expect and so is this.
The finish is the variable worth reading the reviews for. Cast resin at this price ranges from convincingly aged to obviously painted, and the difference between those two is the difference between an object and a party decoration.
