Who we are

UselessFinds is a product curation site that writes about unusual and novelty items sold on AliExpress. You can reach us at hello@uselessfinds.com.

Affiliate disclosure

UselessFinds participates in the AliExpress Affiliate Program. When you follow a product link from this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Every such link is marked as sponsored in the page markup and opens in a new tab.

Commission does not influence which products we feature or what we say about them. We are not the seller, and we do not handle your order, payment, shipping or returns — those are between you and AliExpress.

What we collect

This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comment system and no forms. We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not build a profile of you.

Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, user agent and requested URL) in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use that data for tracking.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It is a privacy-first, aggregate measurement tool: it does not use cookies, it does not store anything in your browser, and it does not fingerprint you or follow you between websites. Page addresses are recorded without their query strings.

We see totals — how many people visited a page, roughly where in the world they came from, and which site referred them. We cannot see who you are, and we cannot single out an individual visitor.

The measurement script is loaded from, and reports to,cloudflareinsights.com, which is operated by Cloudflare. Loading it means your browser makes a request to that domain.

Because no cookies or device storage are involved, this site does not show a cookie consent banner. Cloudflare's own privacy practices for this product are described in their documentation.

When you leave this site

Product links send you to AliExpress. AliExpress and its affiliate network set their own cookies to attribute the referral, and they apply their own privacy policy once you arrive. We have no control over that and receive no personal information about you from it — only aggregate reporting on clicks and orders.

If you would rather not be attributed, you can block third-party cookies, or open the product on AliExpress directly instead of using our links.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and the CCPA (California) you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we do not collect or store personal data ourselves, there is usually nothing for us to return or erase. If you believe we hold something about you, write to hello@uselessfinds.com and we will respond within 30 days.

For data held by AliExpress as a result of a referral, please contact AliExpress directly.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be summarised on this page.
