What Is This Thing?
A wall plug with three translucent mushrooms growing out of it on thin stalks, lit from inside. A light sensor in the housing turns them on when the room goes dark and off when it brightens, so there is no switch and nothing to remember.
The mushrooms glow in soft colours. The plug is the whole fixture: no cable, no base, no shade.
Why You Don't Need It
It produces enough light to find a door frame and not enough to do anything else. It is not a reading light, not a lamp, and not a torch.
There is also no adjustment. It decides when to be on, and you live with the decision.
Why You'll Buy It Anyway
Because a wall socket sprouting illuminated fungus is a better thing to walk past at 3am than a wall socket. At this price the question is not whether it earns its place but whether you want more than one.
The light sensor is also the correct design. A night light with a switch is a night light you forget to turn on.

Who It's Actually For
Hallways, bathrooms, children's rooms and the top of a staircase — the places where you want to see the floor without waking up properly.
It is a standard small gift, and one of the few objects on this site that a person might genuinely keep using after the novelty wears off.
before you click buy
Check the plug type before ordering. Listings for these cover several regional standards from the same page, and the wrong one is useless in a way this site does not find funny.
The sensor needs real darkness to trigger, so it will stay off in a room with a streetlight outside. The stalks are thin and the mushrooms are the part that breaks.
