What Is This Thing?
Four keycaps mounted in a row on a clear base, each one stamped with a cat paw, each sitting on its own switch housing. Press one and it travels and clicks. RGB lighting glows up through the transparent bodies and spills out underneath in a different colour for each key.
It hangs off a keyring. It is connected to nothing. Nothing you press produces a character anywhere.
Available in black keycaps with pink paws, or translucent white keycaps that glow in whatever colour is underneath.
Why You Don't Need It
You already own a keyboard, and yours has the significant competitive advantage of producing text. This one has four keys, no cable, no pairing, and no output whatsoever.
Why You'll Buy It Anyway
Anyone who has ever described a switch as "tactile" is already reaching for their wallet. This is the clicking, extracted from the typing and sold separately.
The cat paws are what tip it from "keyboard part" into "object." Without them it would be a novelty for a narrow audience of keyboard people; with them it is a small glowing thing with paws on it, which is a much wider market.

Who It's Actually For
Keyboard enthusiasts, obviously — this is an inside joke aimed squarely at them. But also anyone who fidgets in meetings and would rather do it with something that looks intentional.
It is a reliable small gift for a developer, a gamer, or the person whose desk already has three mechanical keyboards on it. Cat owners are a second, entirely separate reason it sells.
before you click buy
Your open-plan colleagues will have opinions. Real switches are audible, and four of them on a keyring in a quiet room is a choice you are making on everyone's behalf.
Check the listing for how the lighting is powered and whether a battery is included, since that varies between versions of this product. At this price the assembly is simple — treat it as a fidget toy that borrowed keyboard parts, not as a piece of keyboard hardware.
